Matty's High School Graduation!

Matty graduated from Camas High School
on June 13th!
We are so proud of you, Mattyboo!!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to the stadium until 5:00 p.m. Thank the Lord for good friends who save spots in line. Lin & Tammie arrived in line at 3:15 p.m. This seems insane, but it's the norm for Camas! That's what happens when there aren't enough tickets to go around. :/

Fixed!

Look what we received in yesterday's mail: corrected graduation programs!

This is the program from the ceremony on June 10th.
Not only was Naseem's name missing, but two other graduates as well.
Corrected program!!
We also received this very nice letter from the principal & vice principal. I must say, these two were so apologetic in person as well. Naseem recevied a personal shout out on graduation night (which was so nice!!) and last week; I was at the HS & the principal gave me another heartfelt apology. It was so genuine, I left in tears.

Thank you Mr. Marshall & Mrs. Anderson for 'righting this wrong.' You both are class acts!☺

Graduation 2011

Look who graduated Friday night!

She did it!!!
Proud family!!!
Congratulations Naseemjoon! We love you!!!

It was an exciting night with plenty of drama & technical difficulties. The sound system had it's fair share of problems until halfway through the ceremony, it was finally fixed. Also, several kids names - including Naseem's - were left off the program. I thought I was going to have a stroke! Thankfully we got to the stadium two hours before the ceremony began. I marched my way over to the principal & vice principal and showed them the program. They had no idea. I asked them how they were going to fix it. Their solution: a lovely shout out (by name) to the three seniors who were left off the program. We also will receive new programs with everyone's names in it sometime this week.
A good ending for a stressed student & her family!

What's next for Naseem? She is Pullman bound! Go Cougs!!!
