Netflix This!!
We received this movie over a month ago from Netflix & it just sat on the coffee table. Last night, Omid and I finally watched it. It was excellent! I felt so sad that we neglected to watch it sooner.

Fixed!
Look what we received in yesterday's mail: corrected graduation programs!
This is the program from the ceremony on June 10th.
Not only was Naseem's name missing, but two other graduates as well.
Corrected program!!
We also received this very nice letter from the principal & vice principal. I must say, these two were so apologetic in person as well. Naseem recevied a personal shout out on graduation night (which was so nice!!) and last week; I was at the HS & the principal gave me another heartfelt apology. It was so genuine, I left in tears. Thank you Mr. Marshall & Mrs. Anderson for 'righting this wrong.' You both are class acts!☺

Grad Party (part 1)
Nas' grad party was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend a lot of time with all the great people who came to help her celebrate. So sorry about that! I also didn't get enough photos. Oh well. Here are a few. Enjoy!
Proud Aunt!
Go Cougs!!
Jovanna & Naseem
Annette: Why didn't we get a photo!?!
Cynce: Always ready for a party!
Happy Grad!
I don't know if Brenda is singing to Remy
or lamenting with Cayden (but I love this photo!!)

A Sad Goodbye
My parent's little Poodle, Julius, passed away late Friday night. It was such a sad ending to a very fun night.
RIP Jules! You were a good boy & will be missed!!!
When I'm gone, release me, let me go….
You must not tie yourself to me with tears.
You can only guess how much you gave me in happiness….
Grieve for me a while, if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust…
And then when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a lick and bark "Welcome home."

Make This!
Peanut Sauce
I love it!! Peanut sauce on noodles, on salad & for dipping. I found this recipe on Look I Made This. This recipe is DELICIOUS!!!! I made the sauce today to pour over noodles. The chopped salad it goes with is definitely on my list to make soon. YUM!
Peanut Dressing:
1/3 cup peanut oil
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
3 TBSP soy sauce
1/3 cup peanut butter
2 TBSP brown sugar
2 TBSP grated peeled ginger
3 garlic cloves
1 finely minced jalapeno
- Mix all of the liquids in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar, ginger, garlic cloves and jalapeno. Slowly drizzle in the liquids, whisking constantly to emulsify into a smooth sauce. If your sauce doesn’t look so good, a few hits of an immersion blender should sort it out.
