Here are some good household tips. One I need, the other I hope & pray I will never need!
Fruit flies! Ugh - they are worse in the summer, but I still seem to always have one or two that come in the house on my purchased fruit. Not Martha has this great tip I will try. I have tried sugar water & apple cider vinegar in the past, but it didn't really work that well. This tip looks like a sure thing.
SKUNK! I haven't seen any in our area, but have smelled them from time to time. I hope Remy never finds one! I've always heard tomato juice does the trick, but apparently that just masks the smell. Mythbusters tv tried out this formula & it seems to work well. I am definitely going to remember this (just in case!).
The last tip is from the Duggars (thanks for the reminder, Sarah!). Michelle Duggar uses white vinegar every once in a while in place of fabric softener. The vinegar cleans the machine hoses. I have tried this several times and the clothes come out smelling great, not vinegary at all.

Another white vinegar tip: mix 1 part vinegar and 1 part water; spray it on the underarms of your clothes before you wash them if they smell AND you can spray it on your own underarms before you put on your deoderant. It eliminates the bacteria that causes BO. (let the spray dry first)
