Make This!!

I am very late to the kale party, but I'm okay with that. I'll take 'better late than never.'☺ Before I began the Shred Diet, I only used kale to decorate a platter for salmon, turkey or other meat.

Just last week, I made my own kale cubes to add to my smoothies.

They were super easy to make! I used baby kale (found at Costco). It's much easier to use (no de-veining required) & it doesn't taste old & leathery like the adult kale does.
I used about 2 cups of kale at a time & added a tablespoon of water. I blended the kale until it was liquefied & added 2 more cups along with another tablespoon of water. I repeated this step again & again until I had a blender that was 3/4 full of kale juice (about 1/2 of the Costco-sized bag). Then I poured the kale juice into ice cube trays & froze them overnight. The next morning, I popped the cubes out & placed them in a gallon size freezer bag. So easy & so good for me!

Try it!
