Kitchen Tip

This morning I was all set to bake PW's Vanilla Bean Scones. There was one problem: my butter was frozen. I didn't want to nuke them - they'd be too soft and I'd have to stick them back in the freezer. I also didn't want to wait an hour for the sticks to thaw. I had the brilliant idea to use my cheese grater and 'grate' the frozen butter. It worked beautifully. The butter was the perfect size to cut into the flour mix and I saved a lot of wear and tear on my wrist. A good morning!
