Make This!!

East Meets West Pork Tenderloin

1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 pork tenderloins (3/4 - 1 pound each)
3 cloves garlic - peeled & halved
1 medium onion, sliced
salt & pepper

Preheat oven to 450*. Line roasting pan with foil. In small bowl, stir together maple syrup, hoisin sauce & sesame oil. Set aside.

Rub each tenderloin with cut side of garlic. Spread onion slices & garlic in center of roasting pan. Place pork on top of onion mix, side by side - but not touching. Sprinkle pork lightly with salt & pepper. Bake 10 minutes.

Reduce oven temp to 375*. Spoon maple syrup mix over pork, covering it evenly. Bake 20-25 minutes longer, basting once, until internal temp reaches 160*. Let pork rest ten minutes. Slice & serve with onion mixture.

**NOTE: I used 1/2 cup of hoisin sauce. I like the taste better. I also only use one pork tenderloin.
