Here I am after my unscheduled eye surgery this afternoon. I went to the eye doctor for a weird bump I had on my lower lid. Hoping for eye drops, the doctor said, "Let's remove it instead." The worst part: getting two shots that STUNG near my eyeball. Not fun. I am in pain now and waiting for the Advil to kick in. I told the doctor I had a blog and wanted to take a photo of the cyst for you all to see. He said that wasn't such a good idea. I looked at it and it was icky. You've been spared. :) Remy trying to smell the patch.

Picture of the cyst? That sounds like the time my sister brought home her tonsils in jar after they had been removed. No joke.

Patch is off...now I have a black eye. I am debating whether or not to go to work tomorrow. If I stay home...I can bake for dogs & people. I will see how I feel. The sad part is...no eyeliner for a week! :(

Oh - the patch was a pressure patch to stop the bleeding. when I took it off...I debated whether or not to take a photo. I didn't...as it was bloody. Omid said I shouldn't gross people out. Sorry!

Erin, I am so sorry. How long have you had the cyst? Did the dr. say what caused it? Take a sick leave day, you deserve it. You may have some eye strain.

Oh, My...Where did this come from? I am sorry!!! I hope you are feeling better. PLEASE DOOD SOME ESFAND....The EYE!!!! That MEAN EYE!!!

You have such a great attitude about it. My mom and I were talking about you tonight, and both of us are convinced that you are a superior being. She doesn't know you had a surgery, for sure. I woudn't have known had I not done my daily blog reading.

Take tomorrow off...You do deserve it very very much.

I didn't know I was having the cyst removed until I was in the doctor's chair. It was totally unexpected. Omid didn't even know until I came home.
