Espana...no
Well...the decision has been made: I am not off to Spain. Despite several people trying to help me iron out the snafus, it didn't all come together. It's for the best and I am actually at peace with the decision. It's up to Omid to experience Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, cava, jamon and "squid in ink" for me

Does Omid know me or does Omid know me?
I love milk & especially cream in old fashioned milk bottles. I also really enjoy chocolate chip cookies. Omid bought me both yesterday.
The Costco tub of Nestle and the cream from Camas Produce. Good job, Omidjoon!!

We ventured over to Washington Square Mall today. We had to look for over 15 minutes to find a parking spot. It reminded me of Christmas shopping.
Evidently, in that part of Oregon - there is no recession. We witnessed people purchasing purses at the Coach store, iPod & Mac purchases at the Apple store....life is good in Beaverton. So...Omid and I had to do our part to help the recession. We spent too much $ at Hollister, Abercrombie, & Zumiez.
I only got to go to one of my stores (boo hoo) the Yankee Candle store. When we walked by, it smelled soooo good. Lots of cinnamon, clove and apple scents. I came out with an Orchard Pear candle. It smells just like a fresh cut pear. So delicous!
The downside of shopping today: Hollister & Abercrombie. The store personnel obviously don't want adults (parents) in the store. The music is too loud and there is too much scent in the air. Unfortunately, Nas & I visited Hollister THREE times in ONE HOUR! Needless to say, I wasn't happy. I am a HUGE fan of online shopping. I guess I am showing my age! :)

Book Club
Nas and I attended our Classic Book Club today. The book this month was: The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. Nas & I didn't get to read the book (terrible, I know!) but were assured we could come anyway. So, we went and the meeting went on for 4 hours! Wow!
First we ate lunch, then talked a bit about the author, then watched the Masterpiece Theatre version of the book and then talked about the book. The movie was excellent! I hear the book is better, so now I will read it. I've already read next month's book so I'm good. :)

Things I think are super cute
You can purchase these items (& more!!) at Fred Flare or if you live in town, at Le Reve in downtown Camas (though they only have a few items). Le Reve also has a resident Yorkie named Paris who loves to give kisses and hugs. In Olympia, go to Archibald Sisters. I still love this store and have passed the love on to my kids. We usually stop at this store while in Oly (I also used to blow all my babysitting $$ there).
I don't just want these, I need them. I use curling ribbon to find my suitcases at the airport.
