I made these for breakfast this morning. They sounded really delicious. They are basically a cinnamon twist w/o the cinnamon. I will definitely add cinnamon next time (we are cinnamon roll junkies at my house). I resisted the temptation to use Bisquick and am glad I did. It would only have save me about a minute anyway. The biscuit dough (while kneading) was soft and silky. The final result tasted a lot like Bisquick, but it's nice to know your family is getting everything in the recipe from scratch.
