This morning the entire 6th grade at Matty's school showed off their science projects: roller coasters. The kids broke up into teams & were given kits to try & make roller coasters. Here is Matty's team & their coaster. All the roller coasters have to work or they don't get 'certified.' Their coaster worked just fine and was given a certificate. They were even nominated for a prize, but lost to another team.

After an exciting day at work & school, the kids and I stopped off at Sonic for some milkshakes. We were celebrating the A Nas received on her Algebra final (take THAT Mr. Chase!) and Matty's A on a Social Studies test. The kids got Sonic Blasts & I had the coconut cream pie shake. This shake was much better than the caramel shake I had last time.

Mr. Chase must be pretty shocked. I bet he thought I'd fail it.
Congrats on the "A"'s kids!! What cool roller coaster Matty - that sounds like a fun assignment!
I am so happy for the "A"s. Congratulations to all of you.
